Firefox 3 is based on the Web Gecko 1.9 rendering platform, which has been under development during the 34 months. The new platform includes more than 15000 changes to improve performance, stability, which makes the accuracy, and code simplification and sustainability. Firefox 3 is built on top of this new platform resulting in a world more secure, easy to use, more personal with a product much more under the hood to offer site and Firefox add-on developers.
